Worked example — a 20×20×4″ 2-car pad
Concrete: 400 × (4/12) = 133.3 cu ft = 4.94 cu yd
With 10% waste: 146.7 cu ft = 5.43 cu yd (order ~5.5)
Wire mesh: 400 × 1.10 ÷ 50 = 9 sheets
Gravel base: 400 × (4/12) ÷ 27 = 4.94 cu yd
